Every review is read before it appears. Nothing is published automatically, and there is no trusted-reviewer tier that skips the queue.
What stays up
Criticism of teaching, however harsh. “Explains badly”, “worst course I have taken”, “I learned nothing”, “the exams were nothing like the material” — these are opinions about the teaching, and they are the reason this site exists.
The line is the person versus the teaching, not polite versus harsh. A strongly worded review about how someone teaches is welcome. A review about who they are as a human being is not.
What gets removed
- Profanity and insults aimed at the person rather than the teaching
- Sexual comments, and comments about appearance or body
- Allegations of misconduct — bribery, corruption, harassment, or discrimination. These are rejected automatically. They may be true and they may matter, but this site cannot verify them and publishing them would put both the accused and this site at real legal risk in Jordan. Report them to the university.
- Religious, sectarian, tribal, regional, or gender-based slurs. Also rejected automatically.
- Anything that identifies a student. Class sizes here are small — naming a student, or describing one closely enough to recognise, is a safety problem.
- Spam, advertising, and gibberish
How your review stays anonymous
- An account exists only to prove you are a JUST student. There are no usernames, no display names, no profiles.
- A review shows the year and “verified JUST student”. Nothing else — not your name, not your email, not your department.
- We never ask for the grade you received, and never store the semester.
- A course is named on a review only once that course has three or more reviews for that professor. Below that, the course is hidden — course plus year would narrow a review to very few people.
- There is no way to see a person’s other reviews, publicly or in the moderation tools.
