Every review gets checked before it goes live. Nothing gets published automatically.
What stays up
Harsh criticism is allowed. Personal attacks aren’t.
Saying a professor explains badly, has a terrible course, or writes exams that don’t match the material is completely fair. That’s what reviews are for.
What gets removed
- Personal insults: profanity or insults aimed at the professor rather than their teaching
- Sexual or appearance-based comments
- Accusations of serious misconduct: report this to the university, not us
- Hate speech or slurs, including religious, racist, or gender-based insults. These are rejected automatically.
- Identifying information: don’t name students or include details that could point to someone
- Spam and nonsense: advertising, spam, gibberish, or anything that isn’t an actual review
How your review stays anonymous
Your account isn’t a profile. It only confirms your email address, so one person can’t review the same course twice. No usernames or profiles.
- Your review doesn’t show who you are. It shows the year and, if you signed up with your university email address, which university it belongs to. Your email itself stays hidden.
- We never ask for your grade.
- Your reviews can’t be traced back to you. Nobody can see your other reviews or information, including moderators.
Don’t like our judgement?
